Cooking Instructions:
- Heat the pan on medium heat. Add some oil and sauté the onion until fully cooked. Add the cinnamon powder, coriander powder, salt, and 7 Spice and stir for a full minute. Add the tomato paste and tomato puree. Keep stirring until it reaches a boil then remove from heat and keep aside.
- In a separate pan, fry the potato slices until it reaches a half cooked consistency.
- Move the Koftas onto a tray and place in an oven preheated to 200°C for a maximum of 6 minutes.
- Pre heat the oven at 170°C. Layer the sauce on an oven safe tray and place the cooked Kofta on top. Add the half-cooked potato and then place the sliced tomatoes and onions on top. Cook in the oven for 20 minutes.
Vermicelli Rice
- Wash the rice well and set it aside.
- In a saucepan, heat the ghee, add the vermicelli and stir until golden in color.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat for a few seconds, adding the 700ml of water, the salt and white pepper. Return to the heat.
- Once the water comes to a boil, add the rice and let the mixture boil for about 10 minutes until the rice grains are cooked.
